We got our first standing ovation tonight at the Captain's Charity Evening held at Morecambe Golf Club! The evening began with an instrumental set from the LRGS boys including Max WIlliams on saxophone, Adam Harrison on double bass, Luke Adams on guitar, Jay Darlington on trumpet and flugelhorn and Joel Shooter on drums. The middle section featured a set of my own songs accompanied by Adam Harrison on the double bass. To finish off the evening, I headed up the Moonlight Jazz Band featuring our own version of jazz classics. Not only did we gain a standing ovation but the whole evening raised over £850 for RLI Special Care Baby Unit and the Stroke Association.
